Ed and I had a good weekend just enjoying each other's company. Saturday we went and shopped for two new recliners....Hannah needed the ones we had LOL. We found two, pictures later, we had to order them so I don't have a picture to post. Then we came back to the apartment and got Liberty and went for a ride to see if we could discover something to do here in GA and look for some peaches....both turned out to be a negative, not much to do around Columbus and no peaches did we find, until Sunday at Publix LOL. On our road trip we decided to go to DQ and get us a blizzard. We go through the drive-thru because we did not want to leave the dog in the car since it was 100' outside. I ordered a Turtle Pecan Blizzard, SMALL, and Ed ordered a Banana Cream Blizzard, MEDIUM, well we pull around to pay and the man hands us the first blizzard, the turtle pecan BUT it is not a small it is a medium. Ed proceeds to tell him we ordered a small turtle pecan and a medium banana the guy just looks at Ed and says "I reverse it" we were like okay maybe you should fix it but Ed repeats we ordered a small turtle and a medium banana again the man says "I reverse it", obviously he is not going to change it and so we got a medium turtle and small banana, I just shared. We found out that DQ is not like Burger King where they say "have it your way" I guess DQ is "have it our way, whether you like it or not". Ed and I laughed so hard about this I think I almost had ice cream come out my nose. On our way home from our road trip we stopped at Callaway Gardens and took Liberty for a short walk and let her get in the water at the beach, she enjoyed that. Then we came home and got our Hobby Lobby coupon and went shopping for a project, cushions for our glider. We got what we needed and so Sunday afternoon after church and lunch this is what we made:I am kind of proud of them, our cushions turned out pretty nice. I was quite surprised. Not all my projects have good results : ) Now when we get moved next week we can sit out on our back patio on a comfortable and I can even say quite pretty glider. After this I am even thinking of some more projects we can do...table runner, more pillows, curtains, who knows what we can make. I'm not saying the results will be as good but we can give it a try.
Our time together was very nice, good conversation, not much t.v., and we even got something accomplished but even if we wouldn't have the time together was great.

Special Blessings from Above
Grandmamma and Pappy have been having some special blessings the past couple of months. Hannah and Matt came for a visit in May and that was great BUT they went on to the beach and guess who got to keep Isaiah for a couple of days...that's right Grandmamma and Pappy. It was great we did lots of fun things together.......We went to the playground, out for an ice cream, took a nap, played in the tent that Pappy bought, went to the swimming pool, and even put a hat on Liberty. And that was just the middle of May, then we (Hannah, Isaiah, and Grandmamma...me) went back to KY and we even had more fun. We got Zoey and headed to the Louisville Zoo. The best place for us that day was the water park, it was soooo hot.Of course we couldn't leave the zoo without a ride on the Carousel...Then the beginning of June we were blessed with another blessing from God, baby Mason Wyatt Hamlin born June 3, 2011. What a precious baby. Now we have two very special little men on our lives and we are so proud. Our cups are overflowing. We thank God for such wonderful blessings!
Time Flies
Wow! It has been a long time since I blogged. A lot has happened in our lives since my last post.
WE ARE GRANDPARENTS AGAIN! How exciting! Mason Wyatt Hamlin was born on June 3. If memory serves me correctly he weighed 8 lbs and 10 oz, we were there but just can't remember if that was his weight at birth, I do know that now three weeks later he weighs 9 lbs and 10 oz. He is growing!
He is such a precious baby. So cute and such a blessing from God. Matthew and Cari are wonderful parents. I am very proud of them. Now I need to add pictures to my blog spot of my new little man, Mason will now join Isaiah under "my little man", guess I need to change "man" to "men" LOL. I hope to begin posting again on a more regular basis but we will be moving from our apartment to a townhouse in just a couple of weeks and again I will be very busy then we are going to visit my parents in Maryland for a week.....hey good things to blog about 'smile'.
