Here We Go Again
The title of my blog, "Normal Is Just A Setting On the Dryer", I think describes our life quite well. At least in my opinion it is anything but normal, not a bad thing, at least, it keeps things interesting. And we are at it again, MOVING! The summer of 2010, we moved to Columbus, GA. We moved to an apartment at Greystone Farms. In February/March 2011,we helped Matthew and Cari move to their new, first house in Lawrenceburg, KY. In July 2011 we moved from our apartment in Greystone Farms to a townhouse, at least this move was in the same apartment complex. You should have seen Ed pulling the dolly with our washer and dryer through the roads in our apartment complex, it was an interesting sight lol. It was a good move though, we are enjoying the townhouse so much better than our apartment. It feels more like a "house". Then in January 2012 Matt and Hannah moved to Texarkana, you guessed it, I made a trip to Texarkana following the moving truck to help them get moved. That was another interesting trip.....I should blog on that trip alone. Then in June 2012, Matt transferred with the company he works for to Albany, GA.....you guessed it another move but this time I stayed on this end of the trip and kept Isaiah until they got back with the moving truck then we went to Albany to help unload. Since Albany is only about an hour and a half from us I made many trips that direction to help them out. Now guess what, it is August 2012 and tomorrow, August 11, we are headed back to KY, can you guess the reason......if you guessed a move, you were RIGHT! Luke is moving to an apartment in Louisville, we are selling our home in Flaherty, and we are moving the rest of our belongings to Columbus, GA, at least now all of our things will now be in one place. God has really brought everything together with the selling of our home. We have not closed on our house yet but we should close in a couple weeks. God is always on time and He is always working. One of the ways we saw how God works things out in this move is Luke's apartment and the timing with this. Another was a garage here at Greystone Farms, where we live. Everything has been right on time, not early but right when we needed it. It is not a coincidence, it is God. You would think that after all these moves and all the times we have seen God work at just the right time we would never worry that things weren't going to work out but I still do. I get anxious and start wondering "is it going to work, what are we going to do?" Crazy because God has never let us down yet and I don't think He is going to. Even if He doesn't answer our prayers like we think He should He is still working and taking care of us. "All things work together for good, to those who love God and are called according to His purpose." He loves us and He is going to do what is best for us, he is going to take care of everything. Now wonder when the next move will be??? I am sure God already has it worked out.
